Fender Tone Master Pro Firmware Update: A new Era of Sound Awaits
Fender has unveiled an exciting firmware update for its Tone master Pro amplifier modeler, introducing a plethora of new amplifiers, cabinets, effects, and enhancements aimed at improving user experience.
As its launch in October 2023, the Tone Master Pro has made meaningful waves in a competitive landscape, captivating both tube amp enthusiasts and modeler aficionados. This latest update is touted by Fender as one of their most thrilling enhancements to date.
New Amplifiers and Cabinets to Explore
The update brings four fresh amplifiers into the mix, complemented by six new cabinets and an impressive 23 effect models. Among the new additions is the Hiway 105 amp, inspired by the legendary Hiwatt DR103 100-watt amplifier that powered David Gilmour during his formative years with Pink Floyd. Another notable entry is the Petrol, which draws inspiration from the powerful Diezel VH4 100-watt head.
Additionally, the update includes the iconic Fender ’65 Twin Reverb Blonde and the Fender Bassman TV, designed to deliver “bold, authoritative bass tones.” The new cabinets feature partnerships with these amplifiers, including the 1×12 Deluxe D120 and the 2×12 British Alnico.
Innovative Effects for Sonic Exploration
On the effects front, users can now access three polyphonic guitar synthesizers that promise “best-in-class latency,” allowing for sonic experimentation that seamlessly blends modern and vintage sounds. The update also streamlines connectivity with MIDI over USB support, increases block preset capacity to 500, and extends the looper functionality to three minutes, enhancing the overall user experience.
