Introducing the FullerTone Offset: Eastman’s Latest Electric Guitar Marvel
NAMM 2026: Eastman has officially expanded its FullerTone electric guitar collection with the highly anticipated FullerTone Offset model.
In recent years, Eastman has made significant strides in the guitar industry. At NAMM 2024, the brand showcased its vision for the future of solidbody guitars with the introduction of the D’Ambrosio series, which featured single-cut, double-cut, and offset designs.
The D’Ambrosio models captivated audiences with their innovative body shapes, stunning aesthetics, a new FullerTone neck joint, and a refined design philosophy that positioned them as some of the most remarkable new electric guitars in recent memory.
While these custom shop models came with a hefty price tag, the FullerTone series aimed to deliver that same allure at a more accessible price point, maintaining the exquisite beauty and neck joint that inspired the series’ name.
Initially, the FullerTone lineup included only single-cut and double-cut models, leaving many guitar enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the offset version, which was the most sought-after addition.
Though, the wait is over! Eastman, in collaboration with youtuber Paul Davids, has fine-tuned the design, leading to the official launch of the FullerTone Offset.
This new model is not merely a replica of the D’Ambrosio; instead, eastman has utilized Davids’ insights to create a guitar that prioritizes player comfort and usability.
Design Enhancements and Features
The FullerTone offset ’62 boasts a larger pickguard design that aligns with the SC and DC models, and it is available in exclusive finishes like dakota Red and Gold.
Additionally, it features a Jazzmaster-style Goldo DG tremolo, replacing the Halon Cobsb-05 bridge found on the D’Ambrosio, and the control layout has been reconfigured to position the pickup selector switch on the upper bout, enhancing accessibility.
Incorporating feedback from Davids, the body has been contoured for enhanced comfort, featuring a more pronounced bevel on the top edge and a deeper belly cut on the back. Eastman claims these modifications considerably improve the FullerTone Offset’s playability.
At its core, the guitar is constructed from a roasted black limba body, paired with a roasted maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. It also features a pair of Tonerider Soapbar humbuckers adorned with a custom Goldfoil cover. Additional specifications include a 12″ fingerboard radius, a 25.5″ scale length, and a bone nut.
Notably, the FullerTone neck joint-an innovation by Otto D’Ambrosio-utilizes a two-piece design aimed at enhancing sustain, stability, and tonal quality.
“Our aim was straightforward: to create a guitar that feels remarkable and is unachievable to put down,” Eastman states. “The new FullerTone Offset completes the FullerTone series, joining the single Cut and Double Cut models to present all three of Otto D’Ambrosio’s signature designs in a unified collection.”
“Available in Dakota Red and Gold, each body style possesses its unique character, all tied together by exceptional playability, tone, and design that epitomizes FullerTone.”
The FullerTone Offset is priced at £899, approximately $1,200. Eastman has been approached for confirmation of the official US pricing.
