“Over 40 years ago, I was demonstrating at NAMM when my volume pedal failed,” Morse shared in a recent interview with Guitar World. “The mechanism broke, and I needed a new one. I noticed Ernie Ball had a pedal that looked incredibly durable-just what I needed.”
“I asked if I could purchase it, but they informed me it was only for display. I then inquired if I could borrow it for my demo, and they said they would need to check with Ern.”

“It truly felt like a family affair,and I was welcomed into it. That’s when I became an endorser,” he added.

“Forty years ago, they acquired the Music Man line and planned to launch the StingRay bass,” Morse explained. ”They expressed a desire to enhance their guitar offerings and invited me to design a signature model.”
