Rethinking teh F Chord
Rather than defaulting to the conventional barre chord for the F major, why not explore a more agreeable approach? By utilizing the thumb-fretting technique on the 6th string, you can create a fresh voicing as depicted in FIGURE 1.

Benefits of the Thumb-Fretted F Chord
Adopting this technique provides two important advantages:
It alleviates wrist strain, making it easier to transition between open chords without the need to contort your hand into the full barre shape.
This fingering allows for seamless movement between F and Fsus2, creating a rich, musical embellishment reminiscent of the transitions many players utilize between C and Csus2 (refer to FIGURE 2).
