# Cort Releases New Acoustic Guitars

Cort has introduced two new acoustic guitars featuring solid cedar tops at an affordable price of $370, offering great value for money. Traditionally, cedar tops were reserved for nylon or expensive steel-stringed guitars, but Cort has broken with convention.

## Features
Both guitars come with black satin-finished solid cedar tops and mahogany back and sides. The mahogany is selected to balance the overall tone and response of the guitars. Additionally, they feature a dovetail construction for overall sustain, 25.5” scale length, and 20-fret fingerboards made from ovangkol. Both models also incorporate ovangkol bridges, synthetic PPS nuts, and die-cast tuners. Furthermore, they are equipped with Fishman S-Core pickups and Presys electronics which are discretely located within the soundhole for a traditional, sleek look.

The MR500F-CED boasts a full-size dreadnought body that offers powerful bass response and loud projection. Meanwhile, the L100OCF-CED sports a slightly smaller orchestra body with wider string spacing for a more comfortable finger-picking experience. Both guitars are adorned with ABS ivory binding, rosettes, and ivory pickguards, giving them a classic look.

Cort highlights the warm and rich sonic character of the solid red cedar top paired with mahogany back and sides, delivering a well-balanced sound with a warm midrange ideal for various playing styles, from gentle fingerpicking to dynamic strumming.
