Fender Unveils Stunning Limited Edition player II Sparkle Series Guitars
Fender has just unveiled its captivating limited-edition player II sparkle Series electric guitars, following an exciting declaration at NAMM earlier this year about a significant aesthetic refresh for the line.
The Player Series was designed to make the iconic look, feel, and sound of classic Fender instruments accessible to a broader audience, and the revamped Player II models are turning heads with their remarkable “effortless playability.”
The Sparkle finish on these instruments strikes a balance between elegance and flair, offering a elegant appearance rather than an overwhelming shine, featuring the same Three-Color Sunburst Sparkle finish across all four new models.
Timeless Design Meets Modern Specifications
As Fender puts it, “The Player II Stratocaster exudes classic Fender allure, yet is engineered for the contemporary musician.” The specifications closely align with the rest of the Player II lineup.
For the Stratocaster model, priced at $899.99, it boasts Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Strat pickups, designed to deliver “crystalline highs, musical mids, and tight lows that enhance any musical style.” A five-way switch maximizes the versatility of its SSS pickup configuration.
The neck features a modern C-profile with a satin urethane finish and a comfortable 9.5″ radius, ensuring smooth playability.Players can choose between slab rosewood and maple fingerboards, both equipped with 22 frets. the hardware includes a two-point tremolo system and ClassicGear tuners.
The Telecaster model, also priced at $899.99,shares similar specifications but features a three-position blade switch for its dual single-coil pickups and a six-saddle bridge with block steel saddles instead of the tremolo system.
Exceptional Playability for Bassists
The bass models in this series are crafted for swift and fluid playability, mirroring the same modern C-profile, 9.5″ radius, and choice of slab rosewood or maple fingerboards.
the Jazz Bass, priced at $899.99, distinguishes itself with 20 medium jumbo frets and Player Series Alnico V single-Coil J Bass pickups, delivering bright highs, punchy mids, and deep lows.
Simultaneously occurring, the Precision Bass, also available for $899.99, features Player Series Alnico V Split-Coil P Bass pickups and retains the classic P-Bass silhouette, sharing identical specifications with the Jazz model.
