Fender Japan is paying homage to its rich cultural heritage with the launch of the exclusive Made in Japan Limited Japan-Inspired Collection stratocaster. This collection beautifully intertwines elements of traditional Japanese culture,from the stealthy allure of ninjas to the serene essence of matcha tea.

design Inspirations from Kyoto and Beyond
The collection draws inspiration from a variety of themes, including the historic city of kyoto, the legendary samurai and ninja warriors, the art of matcha preparation, and the traditional craft of indigo dyeing. Each guitar in this lineup is a testament to these cultural influences, bringing the iconic electric guitar to life in exciting new ways.
Modern Features with a Vintage Touch
Built on a foundation of vintage-modern aesthetics,these guitars feature an alder body,a maple neck,and a rosewood fingerboard. They adhere to the standard 25.5″ scale length and are equipped with two-point synchronized tremolos, vintage-style stamped steel saddles, and locking tuners that harken back to classic designs while offering modern reliability.
Innovative Pickups for a versatile Sound
Each model is outfitted with the newly developed Hybrid II Custom-Voiced pickups. This trio of single coils is engineered to deliver a sound that seamlessly blends retro warmth with contemporary clarity. The modern C-profile neck and a 9.5″ fingerboard radius, combined with medium-jumbo frets, ensure that these guitars play like modern instruments while retaining their classic charm.
Eye-Catching Aesthetics
The visual appeal of these guitars is where they truly shine. The Kyoto Orange variant features a striking one-ply gold anodized aluminum pickguard, complemented by gold hardware and matching dot inlays, creating a cohesive and luxurious look. In contrast, the Indigo Denim model maintains the pickguard inlays but opts for sleek black nickel hardware, while the Matcha Green version showcases chrome hardware for a fresh twist. the black pickup covers and control knobs add a refined touch to each design.

Among the standout models is the Katana Silver, which boasts a unique pickguard reminiscent of the deadly elegance of Japan’s famed swords. This model features a silver pickguard and rhombus-shaped acrylic white pearl inlays, echoing the intricate designs often found on sword handles.

Rounding out the collection is the Ninja Black model, which embraces a minimalist aesthetic.
