In a recent conversation with Guitar World, the renowned Australian acoustic guitarist expressed his admiration for a group of emerging musicians who are not only elevating the genre but also captivating a new audience.

when asked to name his guitarist of the year for 2025, emmanuel immediately pointed to Trey Hensley, who recently clinched the title of Guitar Player of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Awards for the third consecutive time.
