NAMM 2025: The NAMM show is not solely a platform for established brands to showcase their latest offerings; it also serves as a hub for innovators eager to push the boundaries of instrument design. Verso is at the forefront of this movement with its groundbreaking Sine electric guitar.
At first glance, the Verso Sine stands out as anything but a conventional six-string.however, its striking aesthetics are just the beginning of what it brings to the table in terms of guitar design and functionality.
Beyond its futuristic appearance, the Sine is engineered for performance: it features movable pickups and an interactive Sine Pad, both of which promise to transform the way musicians express themselves through their instruments.
Focusing on the pickup system, the Sine introduces a three-dimensional pickup arrangement that replaces the traditional fixed selector switch with a more versatile and experimental mechanism.
To utilize the pickup system, simply grasp the pickup, which is magnetically affixed to a wrap-around steel pickguard, and slide it to yoru preferred position. Whether you desire a thicker neck pickup tone or wont to enhance your leads with more bridge presence, the Sine allows for endless experimentation.
But that’s just the beginning. The Sine Pad on the pickguard enables players to control volume swells with a simple press.
Additionally, leveraging Lehle technology, users can manipulate reverb trails and pitch in real-time by interacting with the pad, connecting it to pedals and synthesizers. The guitar also features USB MIDI control for seamless integration with DAWs, along with master volume and pickup blend knobs.
Despite its innovative features,Verso has maintained high-quality components in the Sine. It features a robust ash body, a C-shaped neck available in ash, maple, cherry, oak, or walnut, and 22 Jescar Jumbo frets.
Additional specifications include Schaller locking tuners, a solid brass bridge with a bone saddle, and a choice between a 16” or 9.5”-16” compound radius, with options for six- or seven-string configurations.
“The Sine is a solid body electric guitar designed with one core principle: Playfulness,” states Verso. “It transforms your interaction with sound, featuring the innovative Sine Pad and a freely movable pickup system that provides precise, mechanical control over volume, adding a new dimension of expressiveness to your playing.”
the Verso Sine is currently available for order starting at €2,970 (approximately $3,060).
