As a standout in Cort’s X Series, the revamped Mutility II embodies its name—“multiple utility”—wiht significant enhancements in its multi-scale design and advanced electronics, making it more versatile than ever.
this sleek instrument builds on the successful collaboration that began in 2021 with the original X700 Mutility. Following that, the Duality II introduced a mahogany body paired with Fishman Fluence Open core Classic humbuckers and an innovative switching system, while the Triality catered to the needs of progressive musicians.
Enhanced Features and Design
The Mutility II boasts an ergonomic design that prioritizes player comfort, featuring a refined scaling system. The customary three-way pickup selector has been upgraded to a more flexible five-way option, enhancing tonal versatility.

Additionally, the guitar features a multi-scale length of 25”-25.5”, an upgrade from the previous model’s 24.75”-25.5”. Its neck is constructed from a five-piece blend of roasted maple and walnut laminate, enhancing resonance and durability compared to the earlier roasted maple/ash combination.
Playability and Comfort
Playability is a key focus, with a 15.75” radius and a roasted maple fingerboard equipped with 24 stainless steel frets and Luminlay side dots for easy visibility.
Completing the design is a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut and a tilt-back headstock, which not only improves sustain but also adds to the guitar’s sleek, aerodynamic look.
