The festivities continue with the release of the 40th Anniversary Custom 24-08 Semi-Hollow Limited Edition, a refreshed take on one of PRS’s original designs, the Custom 24-08.
This new model boasts both aesthetic and tonal enhancements. Visually, it features a stunning “10-top” grade figured maple top, complemented by a ziricote fretboard and headstock veneer, along with a unique inlay package. On the sonic side, the guitar is equipped with TCI pickups and EQ mini-toggle switches.
The EQ mini-toggles, also found on the Charcoal phoenix, function as tuned high-pass filters when activated, effectively eliminating low-end frequencies to enhance clarity and bring out the musical highs.
Crafted with American alnico, the TCI pickups are designed to merge the best qualities of single-coil and soapbar pickups while eliminating unwanted hum.
