The highly anticipated Helix Stadium Floor from Line 6 is now available for purchase,marking its arrival eight months after its initial announcement.
Last summer, Line 6 introduced a groundbreaking series of floor modelers, dubbing them “a new type of product.” The Helix Stadium Floor and its larger counterpart, the Helix Stadium floor XL, feature cutting-edge modeling algorithms, intuitive touchscreens, and a robust Showcase function designed to elevate the all-in-one rig experience to unprecedented levels.
While the Helix Stadium Floor XL, which includes a built-in expression pedal and a more expansive design, began shipping late last year, the Helix Stadium Floor is now making its way to music retailers globally.
Revolutionizing Performance with Innovative Technology
With the aim of “setting a new standard” in the modeling landscape, the Helix Stadium Floor utilizes Line 6’s advanced Agoura modeling technology, enhancing touch sensitivity and delivering an amp-like playing experience.
One standout feature is the ‘Hype’ function, which allows musicians to adjust the tonal balance between ”ultra-authentic” and “idealized” sounds. Though, its capabilities extend far beyond traditional tonal options. The Showcase feature is designed to replace the need for a laptop on stage, acting as a central hub that can trigger MIDI changes, engage presets, run backing tracks, and recall Snapshots, enabling musicians to concentrate on their performance.
Additionally, it can manage click tracks and automate lighting and video for live performances, streamlining the entire gigging process. This functionality distinguishes it from competitors in an increasingly crowded market, exemplified by Fractal’s budget-friendly AM4 modeler and Neural DSP’s compact yet powerful Quad Cortex mini.
Compact Design meets Powerful Features
The primary distinction between the Helix Stadium Floor and the XL version is its more compact design, which lacks a built-in expression pedal. This makes the Helix Stadium Floor a more direct competitor to the Neural DSP Quad Cortex and Fender Tone master Pro.

Looking ahead, line 6 plans to introduce its Proxy amp, cabinet, and effect cloning feature to the modeler, following an initial update that was released in December after the XL’s launch.
