In an exciting collaboration, Kramer has joined forces with the innovative blues guitarist Malina moye to unveil a groundbreaking signature guitar.
The launch of moye’s inaugural signature electric guitar marks a meaningful milestone in her career. This talented musician has skillfully blended genres such as blues, hip-hop, R&B, funk, and soul throughout her four studio albums. Her latest release, Dirty, has garnered acclaim, being recognized as one of the top guitar albums of 2023 by GW readers.
With her unique left-handed playing style,Moye draws inspiration from legendary guitarists like Jimi Hendrix,Albert King,Elizabeth Cotten,and Eric Gales,showcasing her versatility and skill.
Having experimented with various guitar models, from Flying Vs to Stratocasters, Moye has now embraced the Kramer brand, solidifying her legacy as the first woman of colour to have a signature model with the company.
Moye’s signature model is built on the renowned Kramer S-type Pacer Deluxe platform and is available in both left and right-handed versions. The guitar features a solid alder body paired with a maple neck and a 10″ radius fingerboard, complemented by a TUSQ nut, a two-point tremolo system, and elegant gold hardware.
Designed to excel across a spectrum of musical styles, from smooth soul to gritty rock, the guitar is equipped with Moye’s favorite DiMarzio pickups: virtual Vintage Blues, Area 7, and Super Distortion, ensuring a rich and versatile sound.
The guitar is finished in a striking Splash Blue, featuring a color-matched headstock, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and locking tuners. moye’s signature adorns the back of the headstock, while a unique inlay at the 12th fret adds a personal touch.
