D-3 Millionth: A Symbol of Legacy
the D-3 Millionth is a lavish tribute to Martin’s legacy, featuring a top that symbolizes a sycamore tree trunk cross-section, adorned with solid gold inlays representing the company’s 192-year journey, and diamonds that commemorate pivotal moments in its history.
The back and sides are crafted from exquisite Brazilian rosewood, showcasing an inlaid sycamore tree image that honors Martin’s dedicated workforce, embellished with gold and pearl accents. The headstock is encrusted with diamonds, and the pickguard is made of solid palladium, featuring a ruby-inlaid map of Nazareth, PA, highlighting the company’s historic factory locations.
This model is limited to just three units,with only the third build,serial number 3,000,002,available for public purchase. while the price remains unconfirmed, the model’s name might hint at its exclusivity.
D-300: A More Accessible Luxury
If the D-3 Millionth is beyond your budget, the D-300 offers a more attainable option while still embodying the essence of the original. Limited to a run of 30, this model features silver inlays for the tree rings and gold dots to signify milestones. It retains the luxurious Brazilian rosewood back and sides and includes a ruby-inlaid pickguard map, priced at $300,000.
Grand J-28E DN: A Collector’s Dream
The Grand J-28E DN is a rare gem among collectors, as double-neck guitars are exceedingly scarce. Martin proudly claims this is their frist double-neck model in a century, making it a significant addition to their revamped Standard Series.
This Grand Jumbo model features a solid spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, offering both a 12-string and a 6-string neck. It boasts two compound dovetail neck joints, unique X-bracing, and custom Fishman electronics, all for a price of $7,999.
CEO-11: A Visionary Creation
Thomas Ripsam, Martin’s President and CEO, has returned to the drawing board with the CEO-11. This model features a Grand Auditorium shape, crafted from figured white oak for the back and sides, and a European spruce top, finished in a striking New Horizons blue burst.
It also includes a two-piece flamed maple neck, flamed maple binding, and custom-voiced Fishman Aura VT Blend electronics. Limited to just 1,111 units, it is priced at $6,999.
00L Oliver: An Artistic Collaboration
In collaboration with artist Julie Heffernan, Martin presents the 00L oliver, which showcases her signature floral style. This model features a solid spruce top and a medium flame satin koa back and sides, limited to just 104 units, priced at $2,999.
D-Robert Goetzl 10: A Unique Artistic Expression
In a surprising twist, Martin has introduced a one-of-a-kind dreadnought model featuring a hand-painted design by artist Robert Goetzl. This unique piece combines a solid spruce top with East Indian rosewood back and sides, complemented by a mahogany neck and Waverly gold tuners.
