DrumX features a collection of ten legendary drum machines, including the TR-808, TR-909, TR-606, LinnDrum, LM-1, DR-55, DR-110, DMX, DrumTraks, and SP-12. Each machine has been meticulously sampled, providing users with the ability to shape, layer, and explore new sonic landscapes. Additionally, exclusive custom samples crafted by Jimmy Jam are included, enhancing the creative possibilities.

At the core of DrumX lies an extensive library of grooves curated by Jimmy Jam. Musicians can access hundreds of instantly playable grooves, each featuring sounds from the ten iconic drum machines, spanning genres such as Dance, Industrial, R&B, Funk, Pop, Hip Hop, and Ballads.
In addition to these classic sounds, DrumX includes a selection of exclusive custom samples that provide unique textures and tones not found elsewhere.
The DrumX all Kits folder encompasses every option from each drum machine, allowing for the creation of personalized kits. Moreover, three additional instrument types enhance the experience: DX pitched remaps a single drum across all 16 pads for melodic tuning, DX Stacks combine kicks, snares, or hi-hats from all ten machines for powerful hybrid sounds, and DX Layers enable seamless switching between machine variations to add depth without starting from scratch. Noteworthy features include a tape saturation control utilizing Studer tape machines, including the rare tube Studer J-37, offering five levels of saturation, and also re-amping options into EastWest Studios 1 and 2 for a room ambiance, complemented by hundreds of professional effects.
