Clarifying Misconceptions
Maxxxwell Carlisle has previously addressed various misconceptions regarding his signature model and the Harley Benton brand, which is owned by the German retailer Thomann. He clarified that his signature guitar is manufactured in Indonesia, a well-known production hub for many top guitar brands, including the recently launched $599 Fender Standard series.
“My signature guitar and the Fusion series, along with all guitars featuring roasted necks, are all made in Indonesia,” Carlisle explained.
Brand Identity and Market Position
He also shed light on the Harley Benton brand name, noting that it was chosen for its appealing sound rather than being linked to a specific founder. Despite any confusion,Harley Benton is solidifying its reputation in the budget-friendly guitar market, recently announcing a new twin humbucker S-style electric guitar inspired by Tom DeLonge’s signature Strat, which debuted in 2023.
