Along with Metallica’s forthcoming album,Hammett⁢ is also working on ⁣his first full-length solo project,following his 2022 EP,Portals. “I’m actively gathering ideas for my ‍solo album,” he stated. “It’s going to blend various‍ musical ‍styles.”

“I​ find myself writing classical progressions one moment,then ‌shifting to heavier riffs,and even exploring funk influences,” he‌ elaborated. “This time around,there will definitely be ⁢vocals,as the songs I’ve written call for them.”
