Guild has made waves in the guitar community by reintroducing it’s S-300 electric guitar, a model that was once considered too avant-garde nearly 50 years ago.
Originally launched in 1977, the S-300’s design was a striking blend of influences, reminiscent of both the Gretsch Electromatic CVT and the Surfcaster. However, its production was short-lived, as Guild now acknowledges that its ”radical” aesthetics did not resonate with the market at the time.
