After three years of anticipation, the innovative nylon-string electric guitar from Tosin Abasi has finally made its debut. This groundbreaking instrument redefines the conventional nylon-string guitar, thanks to a unique partnership with Córdoba, renowned experts in classical and Spanish guitar, which marks Abasi Concepts’ first collaboration with another brand.
In a previous interview with Guitar World at last year’s NAMM show, Abasi hinted at the features of the Abasi Stage 7, stating, “This guitar aims to merge the design principles of my other models-like multi-scale and ergonomic features-into a nylon-string instrument tailored for musicians who may not be classical purists but seek a nylon-string guitar for both studio and live performances.”
