Over the course of three days, we navigated through bustling halls filled with towering stacks, compact combos, Class D amplifiers, and a plethora of bass guitars-4-strings, 5-strings, and even some with 27 strings (probably). We also sifted through a mountain of new pedals set to hit the market.

Its remarkable to think that Music Man’s iconic StingRay bass has been a staple in the music scene for half a century. Launched in 1976, it was designed as a worthy successor to the legendary Precision and Jazz Basses created by Leo Fender two decades earlier.
The 50th Anniversary model from Ernie Ball pays tribute to five decades of the StingRay’s legacy. These instruments are exceptionally limited,with the Liquid Gold version being restricted to just 50 units globally,while the Molten Gold variant will see only 300 produced. each bass features a single humbucker and a special 50th Anniversary silkscreen on the back of the headstock.
